Actor Suriya is set to collaborate with filmmaker RJ Balaji for his upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya 45, the latter announced on Monday.
“#Suriya45. We promise you all a BLOCKBUSTER entertainer. @Suriya_offl @arrahman @DreamWarriorpic @prabhu_sr,” RJ Balaji, known for his films like Mookuthi Amman and Veetla Vishesham, wrote on X alongside a poster.
The poster features a white horse surrounded by menacing sickles. A spear, wrapped in a flowing red cloth, is positioned behind the horse.
The film, which will feature music by AR Rahman, is reportedly going to be an action-thriller flick set in a village. It will mark AR Rahman’s fourth collaboration with Suriya after Aayutha Ezhuthu, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal and 24.
Suriya, will be next seen essaying six different roles in Kanguva, directed by Koratala Siva. The movie will be released on November 14 in 10 languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil. Produced under the banner of Studio Green, Kanguva will mark Bobby Deol and Disha Patani’s Tamil debut.
Suriya also has Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming directorial venture, tentatively titled Suriya 44, in the pipeline. The film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, reportedly explores environmental conservation.
