Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, slated for a June 2 release, will introduce an Indian Spider-Man and release in nine Indian languages, including Bengali, across the country.
Apart from English, the Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson directorial will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali.

In the newly released trailer, Miles Morales reunites with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, and encounters a team of Spider-People in the Spider-Verse.
Sony Pictures general manager Shony Panjikaran said the upcoming movie would be a pan-India phenomenon. “We’re proud to be releasing Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in nine Indian languages, apart from English. This Spider-Man movie is more special for us as it introduces many Indian elements, including Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar,” he added.
