Actress Sonakshi Sinha has cracked a joke about finding ‘adulting’ hard after moving into a new high-rise apartment in Mumbai.

Basking in her Dahaad success, the 35-year-old actress shared glimpses of her new home overlooking the Bandra Worli Sea Link on Instagram on Tuesday. “Adulting - HARD!!!! Head is swirling with plants and pots and lights and mattresses and plates and cushions and chairs and tables, forks and spoons, sinks and bins…. AAAARGH!!! Doing up a house is NOT easy!!!” she wrote.

Sonakshi is currently in the process of moving into her new flat as the furniture is still being covered up in plastic. The actress can be seen in the photos looking at the spread around her and feeling overwhelmed. In one photo, she has her hands on her head.

Huma Qureshi, a close friend of Sonakshi, commented on the pictures. “Welcome to the other side ❤️,” she wrote, while her brother Saqib Saleem commented, “Very proud of you sona ❤️ what a lovely space.”

Suhail Nayyar, who is Sonakshi’s co-star in the upcoming film Nikita Roy and Book of Darkness, also commented, “I’m a proud friend.”

The Lootera actress previously lived with her parents — Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha — in a 10-storey-building in Juhu, Mumbai.

Sonakshi has a busy year ahead with several upcoming projects. The actress was recently seen in the role of a determined cop in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Dahaad alongside Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah. She will be seen next in Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness, which marks the directorial debut of her brother Kussh S Sinha.

The actress also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix period web series Heeramandi in the pipeline along with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
