Anil Kapoor-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3 introduced social media influencer and fitness model Adnaan Shaikh as a new wildcard entry on Sunday’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar.
Anil’s first question to Adnaan was whether he believed he could win the show just like the previous season’s wildcard contestant, Elvish Yadav, who won Bigg Boss OTT 2 hosted by Salman Khan. Adnaan confidently replied, “Inshallah, Allah ne chaaha toh.”
Adnaan has a well-known rivalry with Elvish and his friend Lovekesh Kataria, a current contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 3.
When Anil asked Adnaan his opinion on Kataria's performance in the show, Adnaan remarked that Lovekesh seemed to be imitating contestants from past seasons and has not shown loyalty to his friends lately. He went to the extent of calling Lovekesh Elvish’s manager.
Vishal Pandey’s parents confront Armaan Malik
Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode also welcomed Vishal Pandey’s parents on stage. The social media influencer broke down in tears upon seeing them. Vishal’s parents appeared on the show to slam Armaan Malik for slapping their son. They reassured Vishal that he was not in the wrong and expressed gratitude to Lovekesh and Shivani Kumari for their support. Additionally, they reprimanded the contestants who had questioned Vishal’s character.
When Armaan Malik attempted to explain himself to Vishal’s father, he was firmly shut down, with the latter stating he had no desire to speak with him. Armaan insisted that it was Lovekesh who told him about Vishal’s remarks regarding Kritika. Vishal’s mother countered that this still did not justify Armaan slapping her son. Ultimately, Armaan apologised to Vishal and the audience for his behaviour.
Chandrika Dixit gets evicted
The episode concluded with the elimination of Chandrika Dixit, also known as Vada Pav Girl. She was nominated for eviction alongside Lovekesh, Vishal and Shivani. Kritika Malik burst into tears while bidding goodbye to Chandrika. As Shivani approached her to say goodbye, Chandrika retorted that she was leaving with a broken heart.
Chandrika is the fifth housemate to be evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 3. Neeraj Goyat, Payal Malik, Poulomi Das and Munisha Khatwani were eliminated from the show earlier.
