SVF has unveiled the first look of Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan in the upcoming film Toofan, also featuring Tollywood star Mimi Chakraborty and Masuma Rahman Nabila, ahead of the actor’s birthday on Thursday.
“Toofan loading... Wishing Superstar #ShakibKhan advance happy birthday with the First Look of #Toofan | Film directed by Raihan Rafi,” the official handle of SVF Ekush posted on X alongside the poster.
Shakib sports a rugged look with long locks in the poster as he holds a cigarette in one hand and balances a gun with left leg.
“Toofan is a film that will resonate with audiences in both Bangladesh and India, elevating the standards of commercial cinema. Featuring an outstanding cast from both countries, we are optimistic about the film's success and eagerly await the audience's affection,” said director Raihan Rafi as talked about the movie.
Produced by Alpha-i, Chorki and SVF, Toofan was announced last year with Shakib slated to play the male lead. However, identities of the female protagonists had been kept under wraps and only disclosed earlier this month.
Shakib was last seen in the 2023 Bangladeshi film Priyotoma. He will also be making his Hindi film debut this year with Anonno Mamun’s Dard.
