Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani Gurnani has provided a health update about the actor following his hospitalisation in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday, Pooja wrote, “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well-wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers, and concern.”
The 58-year-old actor was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shah Rukh was accompanied by his daughter Suhana Khan and younger son AbRam Khan. After KKR’s victory over SRH, Shah Rukh greeted his fans at the stadium, performed his iconic arms-stretch pose for the audience and hugged the players of both teams.
Later, the Jawan actor reportedly suffered dehydration due to excessive heat and had to be rushed to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad. His close friend and KKR co-owner actress Juhi Chawla visited him at the hospital.
On the work front, Shah Rukh last starred in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki opposite Taapsee Pannu.
The actor’s upcoming movie, reportedly titled King, is expected to feature him alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. However, an official announcement regarding King is still awaited.
