Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan released a GRWM (get ready with me) video on Thursday in which the latter tried products from Deepika’s skincare line 82°E ahead of their first media interaction for Pathaan.
The Pathaan co-stars first tried out Deepika’s Lotus Splash cleanser which made Shah Rukh feel “cool, cool and freshy, freshy”. While Deepika advised Shah Rukh to drink lots of water, the latter joked, “You can have water, mix it with things that you like, but as long as it's lots of water.”
“It is no secret that I started my career with this handsome man [read @iamsrk] and that we have now done four movies together! But getting ready and going through our skin care routine together was a whole other level of fun,” Deepika wrote alongside the video on Instagram.
Deepika also took the opportunity to launch 82°E’s newest product, Gotu Kola Dew, a hydrating serum. The stars then went on to moisturise and apply sunscreen, which Shah Rukh jokingly applied inside his nose.
The fun skincare routine video ended with Shah Rukh cracking yet another joke about how he would be teaching Deepika how to change clothes.
The video came a day after Deepika posted an audio snippet of their interaction, leaving fans in anticipation of what was to come.
The two actors are currently enjoying the box-office success of Pathaan which has earned Rs 887 crore worldwide in 16 days. Deepika and Shah Rukh will share the screen space next in Atlee’s Jawan, set for a June release.
