“And it’s a wrap on #CitadelIndia🤍 A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming💪🏼 @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed🤗🤍 Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me.. I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud.. Thank you for the role of a lifetime.. i.e until you write me the next☺️♥️,” she wrote.

Citadel, which also features Varun Dhawan, is Samantha’s second collaboration with the director duo after she worked with them in the second season of Prime Video’s The Family Man.

Earlier, the actress had revealed on social media that she had been diagnosed with myositis. “I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. ♥️ THIS TOO SHALL PASS,” she had written on Instagram.

Samantha will be next seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu-language romantic drama film Kushi, which is scheduled to release on September 1 in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
