Salman Khan warns against fake US tour news: ‘Legal action will be taken’

Earlier this year, the Bollywood star had issued a similar warning against fraudulent casting calls claiming association with his production house

Actor Salman Khan on Monday warned fans about a fraudulent event announcement circulating online about his appearance in US concerts in 2024.

“This is to inform that neither Mr Salman Khan nor any of his affiliated companies or teams are organizing any upcoming concerts, appearances in the USA in 2024. Any claims suggesting that Mr Khan will be performing are completely false,” reads his official statement on social media.

The actor also issued a stern warning against those responsible for promoting the fake event. The notice urged people to refrain from trusting any emails, messages or advertisements promoting such appearances, adding that legal action will be taken against anyone found misusing his name.

“Please do not trust any emails, messages, or advertisements promoting such events. Legal action will be taken against anyone found falsely using Mr Salman Khan’s name for fraudulent purposes,” he wrote in the official statement.

Earlier this year, the Tiger 3 actor had issued a warning against fraudulent casting calls claiming association with the actor and his production house. Last year, a similar cautionary message was issued by his production banner to alert aspiring actors and industry professionals about the prevalence of such scams.
