After a brief hiatus from hosting Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, Salman Khan is set to return as the host of Bigg Boss Season 18 on Colors TV, reveals a teaser shared by the makers of the reality show on Monday.
The 10-second teaser opens with the visual of a moving clock, followed by the unmistakable Bigg Boss eyes, a symbol that has become synonymous with the show. Accompanied by Salman Khan’s voiceover, the teaser hints at the central theme for the new season: “Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwalo ka future, ab hoga time ka tandav”.
Sharing the teaser on social media, the makers wrote: “Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18?”
While details regarding the format of the show this year remain under wraps, the teaser indicates that the concept of time will be a significant factor in the dynamics among contestants. In previous seasons, thematic elements have played a pivotal role in the format. In the 17th season, Bigg Boss embraced the theme “Dil, Dimaag Aur Dum”, where contestants were grouped according to these characteristics.
Salman, who has been the face of Bigg Boss since its fourth season, returns to host for the 14th consecutive year. Comedian Munawar Faruqui was the winner of Bigg Boss 17, who defeated Abhishek Kumar in the grand finale.
