Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3, the latest instalment in the YRF spy franchise, plummeted even further with its lowest single-day collection of Rs 6.35 crore nett after 10 days in theatres.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the spy action thriller has been sliding at the box office despite opening with an impressive Rs 44.5 crore nett on Diwali across all languages in India. It performed even better on Day 2, raking in Rs 59.25 crore nett. However, its earnings gradually began to fall throughout the week — it amassed raked in Rs 44.3 crore nett on Day 3, followed by Rs 21.1 crore nett on Day 4, Rs 18.5 crore nett on Day 5, Rs 13.25 crore nett on Day 6, and Rs 18.5 crore nett on Day 7. It went on to add Rs 10.5 crore nett and Rs 7.25 crore nett on the Day 8 and Day 9, respectively.
Despite the sluggish collections, the film has managed to accumulate Rs 243.60 crore nett in India so far.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprise their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively, in Tiger 3. Emraan Hashmi joins the cast in a negative role, while Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan make guest appearances.
