NBA India's Ambassador Ranveer Singh had a fanboy moment when he met basketball star LeBron James at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Utah.
The Cirkus actor played for Miami Heat, led by basketballer Dwayne Wade, and got to meet global stars and NBA legends at the game. Ranveer's most memorable meeting, however, was with LeBron —someone he has looked up to his entire life.
Ranveer took to Instagram on Monday evening to share videos of his fanboy moment and wrote, "It was overwhelming to meet LeBron. It happened suddenly and by chance. To exchange energy with, to be in the presence of, and experience the aura of such an icon of sports was indeed a very, very special moment for me."
Ranveer, who has been a LeBron fan for 20 years, added, "Witnessed his entire career and the glory he has brought to game of basketball 💫 I am ever grateful to the NBA for making this happen for me - Love my NBA family! Love Live King James.”
The 37-year-old actor also met comedian Hasan Minhaj, Gone Girl actor Ben Affleck and Marvel star Simu Liu along with basketball legends such as Dwayne Wade, Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, and Shaquille O'Neal.
