Ranbir Kapoor’s fitness trainer Dheepesh Bhatt, better known as Shivoham, has been dropping a slew of photos and videos, documenting the actor’s transformation into his brawny avatar for Animal.

The trainer, who manages a long list of celebrity clients like Amitabh Bachchan and Jacqueline Fernandez, on Monday shared a video showing a lean-looking Ranbir with himself before he started working out for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-helmed actioner. “Work in silence, let your success be the noise,” he captioned the post.

Shivoham, who played the role of Frankie in the 2003 Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Kal Ho Na Ho, recently shared workout montages of Ranbir at a gym set up on the set. The video, set to the Sidhu Moosewala song Old Skool, shows Ranbir doing pull-ups and taking breaks in between.

Ranbir can be seen working out with dumbbells at the gym in another Instagram reel. The second picture in the video has the actor stretching, exposing fake gunshot wounds all over his toned body. “100s of hours of preparation, discipline and consistency and the strong champion mindset of never giving up is what makes all the difference and decides the final outcome,” wrote the trainer in the caption, revealing the hard work and dedication Ranbir had put into for the film.

Ranbir and Shivoham have been working together since 2021 where the duo prepared a “beach body look” for Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.

The trainer revealed that Ranbir weighed 71 kg before he started bulking the actor up for Animal. The duo began working towards the buff look of Ranbir right from the beginning of 2022, and the actor ended up weighing 82 kg for the recent blockbuster.
