Actor Ranbir Kapoor has recently shot for a cameo in Stardom, the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, in Mumbai, according to various reports.

The upcoming series will also feature various cameos from Bollywood celebrities and explore the history of Hindi cinema business.

Ranbir, who is a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, recently paid a surprise visit to the sets of the series to offer his encouragement to Aryan and shot a cameo for the show. This comes following the announcement that television actor Lakshya Lalwani of Porus fame has been roped in for the lead role in the upcoming six-part series titled Stardom, which is being bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar has already made a guest appearance in the upcoming series. Shah Rukh Khan also paid a surprise visit to the set on the first day of filming to cheer on his son’s maiden directorial venture.

Earlier, Aryan had taken to Instagram to announce that he had completed the writing of his first project — a series — that will also be directed by him. “Wrapped with the writing…can’t wait to say action 🎥,” he had written.
