Ranbir Kapoor’s foray into entrepreneurship, with a cryptic Instagram post from his newly-launched label Arks, has got netizens chattering about what kind of business the Animal star is dipping his toes into.

The first video posted by Arks has Ranbir lying on the ground, staring into the sky and making a squiggle in the air, much like his character Shiva from Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The caption says, ‘Meet the founder. He is not on social media.’ The Arks Instagram bio reads - Work in progress.

The Arks page doesn’t follow anyone but has garnered over 65.5K followers since Ranbir’s birthday on September 28, when it was launched. Among his followers, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor and wife Alia Bhatt feature. Neetu Kapoor wished him good luck in the comments; Alia dropped a few fire emojis.

The second post has Ranbir sitting on a chair with the Arks logo on its back, while in the third post, he is seen working on the brand’s mood board.

If it’s an apparel brand, then Ranbir would be following in the footsteps of his wife Alia, who launched her own children’s clothing brand Edamama. Recently, on entrepreneur and investor Nikhil Kamath’s podcast, Ranbir expressed his intention of becoming an entrepreneur soon.

Ranbir, who was last seen in Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s superhit Animal, is working on Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. He would be starring along with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, star in Animal's sequel Animal Park and is also likely to lead YRF’s Dhoom 4.
