Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer upcoming horror comedy Stree 2 has been locked for release on August 15, the same day Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 will arrive in the cinemas.
The makers of Stree 2, also featuring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, announced the release date with a motion poster on Friday.

The upcoming movie is a sequel to 2018’s Stree, a horror comedy set in a small town where an evil spirit named Stree abducts people at night during the festival season. Just like the original movie, the sequel is also penned by Niren Bhatt and backed by Vijan and Jio Studios.
