The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule have dropped the lyrical video of Pushpa Pushpa, the first track from the upcoming movie, with catchy visuals of Allu Arjun in the titular role.
Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the peppy song has been sung by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue. The video is a tribute to Allu’s character Pushpa Raj, who appears in the video and performs his iconic moves including the shoe drop step, phone step and chai step.
On April 8, the makers unveiled a special teaser marking Allu’s birthday. The actor was seen participating in Jatharaa, a festival observed in Telangana to pay homage to tribal goddesses. The teaser, which shows a sari-clad Allu fighting off goons, accumulated more than 11 million views on YouTube.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule also features Rashmika Mandanna, Rao Ramesh, Dhanunjay, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh. Serving as a sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, the movie is slated to arrive in cinemas on August 15.
