Actress Priyanka Chopra on Friday asked fans to look for references to her Citadel character Nadia in the upcoming Indian spy thriller Citadel: Honey Bunny starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

“When you watch this series, look for connections with Nadia (her Citadel character)… bread crumbs all over Citadel, you just have to find them,” the 42-year-old actress wrote on her Instagram story, sharing the teaser of Citadel: Honey Bunny.

The Baywatch actress also heaped praise on the filmmaker duo Raj & DK. “@rajanddk in full form,” she wrote. Priyanka mentioned that Varun and Samantha are “incredible” in the teaser.

The teaser of the upcoming spy series, dropped on Thursday, showed Samantha’s Honey and Varun’s Bunny teaming up to fight adversaries. The one-minute-and-33-second-long teaser captures Honey and Bunny in a series of high-octane action sequences, including thrilling car and bike chases, and a fistfight.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is the Indian instalment of the globally acclaimed action-thriller franchise Citadel, originally starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Produced by D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios and the Russo Brothers’ AGBO, Citadel: Honey Bunny also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar and Kashvi Majmundar in key roles.

Meanwhile, Priyanka has begun filming for the second instalment of the original series alongside Madden. Joe Russo will reportedly direct all episodes of Season 2 of the show. An Italian spin-off, Citadel: Diana, is also in production.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is slated to hit Prime Video on November 7.
