Stand-up comedian Bill Burr plays a foul-mouthed man who deals with the trials and tribulations of becoming a father later in life as he goes through the midlife crisis in the trailer of Netflix’s comedy-drama film Old Dads.
Dropped on Wednesday, the two-minute-three-second-long trailer introduces Bill Burr’s foul-mouthed character who has become a father in his late 40s. Two of his friends, who have also become fathers later in life, are shown facing the challenges of modern parenting and social norms.
The trailer goes on to show the trio confronting the disparate ideas of millennial parents. It shows how the three best friends stick up for their children against obstacles of tantrums and preschool principals.

Old Dads marks the directorial debut of Burr, who has made a name for himself through his standup comedy career and TV appearances. Previously, Burr played recurring roles on shows like Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian. He also made special appearances in other shows such as Barry and Reservation Dogs.
Old Dads also stars Bobby Cannavale, Bokeem Woodbine, Katie Aselton, Jackie Tohn, Reign Edwards and Rachael Harris. It will be streaming on Netflix on October 20.
