Following Deepika Padukone’s lip-sync to the popular ‘Just looking like a wow’ Instagram audio in a reel, the trend has taken the social media platform by storm with several celebrities — including Sanya Malhotra, Wamiqa Gabbi and Nussrat Jahan — jumping on the bandwagon.

The original audio was shared by a New Delhi-based women’s apparel store owner Jasmeen Kaur, who described her outfits as “So beautiful. So elegant. Just looking like a wow”. Her unique way of complimenting the outfits resonated with netizens, leading to the audio going viral on social media.

Deepika, one of the first Bollywood stars to follow the viral trend, looked stunning in a light-pink sequin outfit as she lip-synced to Jasmeen’s voice in a video that went viral in no time.

Jawan actress Sanya Malhotra, known for sharing dance reels, added a twist to her video and grooved to a remix made by combining Jasmeen’s voice with catchy beats. Sanya sports a black pantsuit in the video, the one she wore at the opening night of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

Khufiya actress Wamiqa Gabbi sported a salmon-coloured Indo-western sari and lip-synced to the audio while looking into the mirror in her Instagram reel.

Tollywood actress and TMC MP Nussrat Jahan was quick to follow the trend. She wore a turquoise printed outfit and entertained her fans with her version of the reel.

Singer-songwriter Nick Jonas was also influenced by the viral trend. He shared a picture of his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a light-green sari coupled with a sleeveless blouse and a choker. “So beautiful. So elegant… Just looking like a wow,” he wrote alongside the photo on his Instagram story.
