28 Years Later trailer
The first full trailer for 28 Years Later, the sequel to the iconic 2002 film 28 Days Later, was dropped by the makers on Tuesday. This long-awaited sequel reunites screenwriter Alex Garland and director Danny Boyle, promising a chilling continuation of the ‘rage virus’ saga. Slated for a June 2025 release, the film explores a post-apocalyptic world where survival is not only about avoiding the infected but also confronting the horror that humanity has become.
Set nearly three decades after the original events, 28 Years Later introduces a fresh chapter in the saga, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes starring in key roles. The film’s premise revolves around a society trying to recover from the devastation caused by the virus, with survivors now living on a heavily isolated island connected to the mainland by a fortified causeway. When one survivor embarks on a dangerous mission to the mainland, he uncovers a terrifying reality — not just a mutated world of infected creatures but also a new breed of survivors.
