Pedro Alonso’s Andres de Fonollosa aka Berlin and his team reach Paris and look all set for a major robbery in a new retro-styled poster of Money Heist prequel series Berlin, dropped by the streaming platform on Friday.
“Family in Paris! Berlin is all set to take off on a heist bigger and better than ever! Arrives 29th December,” Netflix wrote alongside the poster shared on social media.
The poster shows the cast of Berlin — including Pedro Alonso’s titular character, Begoña Vargas’s Cameron, Tristán Ulloa’s Damián, Michelle Jenner’s Keila, Julio Peña’s Roi, Julien Paschal’s Polignac and Joel Sánchez’s Bruce — walking through the streets of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
On September 19, Netflix had dropped a teaser of the upcoming series, showcasing how Berlin risks a massive heist at one of the top auction houses in Paris by falling in love with the wife of the man he is about to rob.
The Money Heist prequel series is created by Esther Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina, with the screenplay being written by David Oliva, David Barrocal, Esther Martinez Lobato and Álex Pina. Berlin is slated to hit Netflix on December 29.
Spanning five seasons, Money Heist revolves around a man going by the name of The Professor, who hires eight thieves to carry out a heist at the Royal Mint of Spain. In the original series, Berlin is the Professor’s brother, who eventually sacrifices his life to save his team members during a heist.
