Actor Abhay Verma is currently in the spotlight for his role as socially awkward boy Bittu in Aditya Sarpotdar's latest horror comedy Munjya, which breached the Rs 100-crore mark recently at the domestic box office. Here's a look at Abhay's impeccable style and previous projects.
Abhay shares a close bond with his mother Kavita Verma and brother Abhishek Verma, also an actor known for portraying Aadi in the popular TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Abhay began his acting career as a junior artist on the sets of Vikas Bahl’s biographical drama Super 30 (2019) starring Hrithik Roshan. He later played Ayaan in Voot’s 2020 crime thriller series Marzi.
The 25-year-old portrayed Kalyan, a young boy involved with terrorists, in Amazon Prime Video’s spy thriller series The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priya Mani Raj and Sharad Kelkar.
Abhay recently starred as Kaushik alongside Sara Ali Khan and Anand Tiwari in Kannan Iyer’s biographical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan backed by Karan Johar.
The actor took on the role of a transgender in Sandeep Singh’s Safed, which was screened at the 75th Cannes Film Festival in 2022.
Abhay has reportedly played the younger version of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the yet-unreleased film Mann Bairagi, directed by Sanjay Tripathi and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Abhay is also sartorially savvy and his social media account reveals his love for crochets, oversized cardigans and vibrant colours.
