A terrible tragedy involving a footbridge collapse in a flooded city set the tone for Mumbai Diaries Season 2 in a new teaser revealing the medical drama’s October 6 premiere on Prime Video.

Dropped on Wednesday by the streamer, the 35-second teaser starts off with visuals of the 2005 Mumbai floods when the city was hit with 320mm of rainfall in six hours. It promises to bring chilling moments involving the collapse of a footbridge and people getting trapped in their cars as massive areas of land go under floodwater. The video gives glimpses of healthcare professionals trying to reach injured and stranded people in need of medical attention. It also shows how the medical staff at the Bombay General Hospital coped with the crisis.
