Monica, O My Darling

The trailer of the upcoming Netflix film Monica, O My Darling, starring Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte, has been released. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film also features Sikander Kher, Sukant Goel, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Zayn Marie in prominent roles.

From the trailer, it appears that Rajkummar Rao’s character kills the woman portrayed by Huma Qureshi after the latter tries to blackmail him. Radhika Apte plays a cop who is investigating the murder case. However, everything is not as it appears, especially in Vasan Bala’s quirky world.

Monica, O My Darling will be streaming on Netflix from November 11.

Urvasivo Rakshasivo

Telugu romantic comedy Urvasivo Rakshasivo’s trailer is also out. Starring Allu Sirish and Anu Emmanuel in lead roles, the film is written and directed by Rakesh Sashii, who is known for his work in Vijetha (2018) and Jatha Kalise (2015).

The trailer chronicles the life of a young man and woman. Allu Sirish's character pretends to be a good boy at home, while Anu Emmanuel plays an independent woman who is not interested in relationships. Comedy punches from Sunil and Vennala Kishore are the highlight. The film also features Vennela Kishore, Aamani and Kedar Shankar in supporting roles. Achu Rjamani and Anup Rubens composed the music for the film.

Urvasivo Rakshasivo will arrive in the cinemas on November 4.

Willow

Disney+ has shared a special look at its upcoming fantasy series Willow. With the return of Warwick Davis in the iconic role, the plot will see the rise of evil as everything is put at stake. The show also stars Tony Revolori, Joanne Whalley, Erin Kellyman and Ellie Bamber in important roles.

The official synopsis reads, “The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.”

Willow will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 30.

Ghosty

The teaser of Kajal Aggarwal’s upcoming Tamil horror-comedy Ghosty has been released. It features Kajal in dual roles, playing an actor as well as a cop. She was last seen in Tamil romantic drama Hey Sinamika. Written and Directed By Kalyaan, the film promises to be a laugh riot.

In the trailer, Kajal is first seen as a cop and then as an actress. However, the actress gets killed and that triggers spooky incidents. Apart from the lead actress, the film also features Yogibabu, K.S.Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, Thangadurai, Jagan, Oorvasi, Sathyan, Adukalam Naren, Manobala, Motta Rajendran, Mayilsamy, Saminaathan, Devadarshini, Suresh Menon and Subbu Panchu Arunachalam.

Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy

Zee5 on Monday dropped the trailer of its upcoming spy thriller titled Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy. It stars Zain Khan Durrani, Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, Harsh Chhaya and Barkha Sengupta. The eight-episode series is directed by Shivam Nair of Special Ops fame alongside Jayprad Desai.

The trailer is inspired by true events and narrates the story of an Indian secret agent. Set during the Indo-Pak war of 1965, it promises a gripping thriller.

Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy will premiere on Zee5 on November 11.
