Mission Majnu
Netflix on Friday evening unveiled the official teaser of its spy thriller Mission Manju. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film is described as the untold story of India’s greatest covert operation.
The one-minute-19-second-long teaser starts with a voiceover that describes it as the story of one of India’s greatest RAW spies. Malhotra stars as the agent in question. The teaser also packs some engaging action sequences and shows us glimpses of Mandanna’s character.
Mission Majnu will be streaming on Netflix from January 20, 2023.
Kuttey
The motion poster teaser of black comedy thriller film Kuttey is now out. Directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj, the film stars an ensemble cast of Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra and Shardul Bhardwaj.
Arjun kapoor shared a short video clip containing motion posters of all the important characters. The Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar actor captioned the video with this line — “1 Haddi aur 7 Kuttey! 🦴 🐕 Let the bhasad begin #Kuttey in cinemas 13th January”
Kuttey will arrive in the cinemas on January 13.
Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair
Peacock released the official trailer for the upcoming documentary Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair on Saturday. The documentary will track the life and career of American professional wrestler Ric Flair, who was an important performer of WWF and later WWE.
The one-minute-47-second-long trailer follows the life and career of one of pro wrestling history’s most revered performers. It also features interviews with others from the business, such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, former rival Hulk Hogan and pro wrestling daughter Charlotte Flair. Myke Tyson, Post Malone, and Stephen A. Smith are among the others who also speak about Ric in the documentary.
Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair will arrive on Peacock on Dec. 26, 2022.
Once Upon a Time in Jamaaligudda
Saregama Kannada on Friday released the official trailer of its upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Jamaaligudda. Written and directed by Kushal Gowda, the film stars Daali Dhananjaya, Aditi Prabhudeva, Praanya P Rao, Yash Shetty, Prakash Belawadi, Bhavana Ramanna, Mayuri Nataraj Nandagopal, Santhosh, Rushika Raj and Sathyanna. This is a bilingual film simultaneously shot in Telugu. The Telugu version is titled Once Upon A Time in Devarakonda.
In the two-minute-23-second-long trailer, we are introduced to a dangerous criminal in prison. A flashback montage shows him as a happy family man with a wife and a kid. However, strange circumstances forced him into a life of crime. We’re shown how his love interest gets killed by a gangster while working in a massage parlour. The trailer promises a gripping action drama with a strong emotional attachment.
Once Upon a Time in Jamaaligudda will arrive in the cinemas on December 30.
