With Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya gone, Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) is determined to make himself the epicentre of power and authority in Mirzapur, reveals the trailer of Mirzapur Season 3, dropped by Prime Video on Thursday.

“Viraasat cheen li gayi hai, par dehshat kaayam hai (The inheritance has been taken away yet the fear lingers),” the streamer captioned its post on Instagram.

The trailer also features Divyenndu, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang and Priyanshu Painyuli.

The third instalment of the Karan Anshuman-created show is slated to hit the streaming platform on July 5.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh and produced by Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur delves into gang wars and illegal weapon trade in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The first season of Mirzapur came out in 2018. The second season, which premiered on Prime Video in October 2020, revolved around Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit, who had aligned himself with new allies to avenge the death of his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and wife Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar).
