The official trailer of Malikappuram has been released by the makers. Directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar and written by Abhilash Pillai, the film stars Unni Mukundan as Lord Ayyappa.

The two-minute-26-second-long trailer shows us the feel-good story of a little girl, who is a die-hard devotee of Lord Ayyappa and wants to visit Sabarimala. The film focuses on the journey of two kids from their hometown to Sabarimala on their own.

Raangi (Tamil)

The teaser of Lyca Productions’s upcoming Tamil-language action thriller film Raangi is now out. rDirected by Saravanan, the film stars Trisha in an all-new action avatar.

In the 49-second-long teaser, we see Trisha kicking, fighting, shooting and chasing bad guys. It seems Trisha plays a cop chasing an international human trafficking racket. The story of the film is written by A.R. Murugadoss and the screenplay is penned by Saravanan.

Raangi will arrive in cinemas on December 30.

Dhamaka (Telugu)

People Media Factory launched the trailer of Telugu superstar Ravi Teja’s upcoming mass entertainer Dhamaka. Directed by Thrinadha Rao Nakkina, the film also features Sreeleela, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Chirag Jani, Ali, Praveen, Hyper Aadi, Pavithra Lokesh, Tulasi and Rajshree Nair.

The two-minute-six-second-long trailer shows us Teja in dual roles — Swamy and Ananda Chakravarthy. The trailer is packed with action sequences and people are flying in every direction.

Dhamaka will hit cinemas on December 23.

Vedha (Kannada)

Zee Studios dropped the official trailer of the upcoming Kannada-language action thriller film Vedha. Directed by A Harsha, the period action film features Karunada Chakravarthy (Dr ShivrajKumar), Ganavi Laxman, Umashree, Aditi Sagar, Swetha Changappa, Veena Ponnappa, Raghu Shivamogga, Jaggapaa and Cheluvaraj.

The two-minute-eight-second-long trailer takes us to the brutal 1060s and shows us glimpses of a lawless place. It focuses on the symbolic weapon of the farmers — sickle — which has a larger political context. Here it becomes the weapon of both men and women in their bid for survival. In the end, we see Dr Shivrajkumar holding a sickle in his hands as he emerges unfazed after a brutal fight.

Vedha will hit the cinemas on December 23.
