Magic Mike’s Last Dance
Warner Bros. Pictures have dropped the trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming film Magic Mike’s Last Dance, a sequel to 2015’s Magic Mike XXL. The film stars Channing Tatum, Salma Hayek, Gavin Spokes, Caitlin Gerard and Christopher Bencomo in important roles.
The two-minute-21-second-long trailer shows Mike (Tatum) bartending in a resort in Miami, where he meets a wealthy businesswoman (Hayek) and showcases his talents. She invites him to London to present his skills in a show at a theatre. However, the plan hits a roadblock. There is also a brewing romance between Mike and the businesswoman.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance will hit the theatres on February 10, 2023.
Something From Tiffany’s
Amazon Prime Video dropped the trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy film Something From Tiffany’s, based on a novel of the same name by Melissa Hill. Directed by Daryl Wein, it stars Zoey Deutch, Ray Nicholson, Kendrick Smith Sampson and Shay Mitchell.
In the one-minute-51-second-long trailer, we see Rachel (Zoey) and Gary (Ray), who are happy in their relationship but not quite ready for a commitment. On the other hand, another couple Ethan (Kendrick) and Vanessa (Shay) are just about to make it official. A mix-up of jewellery boxes causes all of their paths to cross, and leads to a series of twists and unexpected discoveries.
Something From Tiffany’s will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from December 9.
A man of action
Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Spanish-language film A man of action. Directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera, the film stars Juan José Ballesta, Luis Callejo, Liah O'Prey, Miki Esparbé, Alexandre Blazy, Ben Temple, Ana Polvorosa and Fred Tatien. The film is loosely inspired by the life of legendary Spanish anarchist Lucio Urtubia.
The two-minute-long trailer shows us glimpses of Lucio Urtubia’s (Ballesta) life. He is a builder, anarchist and bank robber. The trailer shows that he pulls off a legendary counterfeiting operation in Paris that landed him in the crosshairs of America's biggest bank.
A man of action will arrive on the streaming platform on November 30.
Last Chance U: Basketball: Season 2
Netflix has dropped the trailer for the second season of the documentary series Last Chance U: Basketball, a spin-off to Emmy-winning show Last Chance U. The first season follows American football circuit players looking for a second chance at stardom. In this season, the focus is a group of gifted basketball players.
The official synopsis of the show reads, “As another Husky hoop season begins at East Los Angeles College, Coach Mosley has a wealth of new talent — players who need tough love to move ahead.”
Season 2 of Last Chance U: Basketball premieres on Netflix on December 13.
