Not attending the 95th Academy Awards ceremony at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 13 (IST) couldn’t deter Madonna from showing up in style with the “gang” on the same night.
The pop icon yesterday shared a video where she is seen having a blast with close friends at a party hosted by Israeli-American talent manager Guy Oseary on the Oscars night. She also shared photoshoot moments with celebrity hairstylist Andy Lecompte, celebrity makeup artist Wendi Miyake, photographer JR, Street Dancer 2 actress Sofia Boutella, French actor Loic Mabanza and stylist Rita Melssen at the party.
Clearly alluding to the Oscars ceremony, Madonna cheekily comes up with the line “and the Oscar goes to” in the video while putting on makeup at the start of the photoshoot.
The 64-year-old fashion diva dressed up in a leather corset paired with an embellished blazer, black shorts and stockings for the party. Her punk look also included Vivienne Westwood’s hot pink heels along with silver chains all over her shorts.
In one of the pictures shared on Madonna’s Instagram story, the singer appears to be lying on a huge black-and-white hand.
Madonna is currently gearing up for her upcoming tour that kicks off this summer. The singer will be travelling to 35 cities across North America and Europe starting July 15 in Vancouver, Canada.
