Singer-actress Selena Gomez embarks on amorous adventures, basking in the thrill of new love in the music video of her latest single Love On, shot in the city of love — Paris.

Dropped by the singer on Friday, the video begins with a sequence of couples making out on a stairway and then pans to Gomez inviting her new lover to join her on the rollercoaster ride of love. The flirty lyrics highlight the pros of having the singer as one’s lover: “Clock in, baby get to work/ Night shift but with all the perks/ Time stamping when you fell in love/ Time can’t mess with us.”

From Parisian outfits to Parisian food and Parisian architecture, the video overflows with Gomez’s sincere admiration for French culture. She is seen twirling in a rainbow-hued dress and a white tutu. She poses in a yellow floral gown with an eccentric umbrella against a scenic vista. Several clips of couples kissing — on the terrace and behind a clothesline — add to the vivacious and romantic vibe of the video.

Directed by Philip Andelman, Love on is significantly different from the breakup narrative of Gomez’s last standalone track Single Soon, released in August 2023.

The 31-year-old singer recently made her relationship with record producer Benny Blanco public. Gomez paid a homage to their relationship during Valentine’s week this year, calling Blanco her “bes fwend”.

The singer had teased the release of Love On with a set of behind-the-scenes pictures on February 21.

Her Instagram feed was also flooded with pictures providing a glimpse into her 40-hour-long vacation in Paris.

The carousel contains pictures of Gomez posing in front of the Eiffel Tower, relaxing in a bathtub and enjoying a delicious croissant.

The Good For You singer currently portrays a young artist Mabel Mora in Hulu’s Golden Globe-nominated comedy-mystery series Only Murders in the Building. She will next be seen opposite Zoe Saldaña in the musical crime comedy Emilia Perez, directed by Jacques Audiard. In January, it was announced that Gomez will reprise her role as Alex Russo in the upcoming sequel to Disney’s fantasy teen comedy Wizards of Waverly Place.
