Lauren Gottlieb will dance to Naatu Naatu at the 95th Academy Awards

The American dancer-actor will join singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj on the Oscars stage on March 13

American dancer-actor Lauren Gottlieb, known for headlining the 2013 Bollywood film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, will perform to the Oscar-nominated Naatu Naatu song from SS Rajamouli’s epic action period film RRR at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on March 13.

The 34-year-old performer, who became a familiar face to Indian TV viewers after appearing on the sixth season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, will be joined by singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj on the Oscars stage.

Lauren took to Instagram to share the news with her followers on Friday. “I’m performing on ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the OSCARS!!!!!! I’m beyond excited to represent India on the most prestigious stage in the world. Wish me luck!!!” she wrote.

The dancer also shared a behind-the-scenes video from her rehearsal with the crew of Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, who are the choreographers behind the performance.

The RRR track is up against Rihanna’s Lift Me Up from Black Panther:Wakanda Forever and This is a Life by Son Lux from Everything Everywhere All at Once among other nominations.
