Kriti Sanon has dropped new behind-the-scenes pictures with Crew director Rajesh A. Krishnan, thanking the latter for keeping the mood light on the sets with his humour and guiding the actress during shoots.

“From 1 Captain to Another. Thank you for making us laugh while we made you lose hair @rajoosworld this flight wasn’t easy, but was definitely the most fun and memorable one! To many more,” Kriti wrote on Instagram on Thursday alongside pictures of herself dressed as a flight attendant.

The carousel, full of candid shots, shows Krishnan guiding Kriti in filming various scenes. Kriti, who essays the role of Divya Rana in Crew, is seen sporting a broad smile as she stands beside the director on the set of the film.

Another picture in the carousel features Kriti in a pale blue athleisure outfit, attentively listening to Krishnan's instructions.

In the crime comedy, Kriti portrays a young air hostess who values her camaraderie with two senior co-workers — Geeta Sethi (played by Tabu) and Jasmine Bhajwa (played by Kareena Kapoor Khan).

When the three women realise that their airline has gone bankrupt, they get involved in a gold smuggling scheme in the hope of earning easy money. The film also stars singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh as a customs officer and Kriti’s romantic interest.

Crew, which premiered theatrically on March 29, crossed the Rs 20-crore mark at the global box office on its very first day. Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, the film has already garnered over Rs 80 crore globally since its release.
