Bollywood stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Rani Mukherji spilled the beans about Karan Johar and his lifestyle, bantering with the director-producer at his own celebrity chat show in a new promo video of Koffee With Karan Season 8, currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Sharing the video on Instagram on Sunday, the 51-year-old filmmaker and chat show host wrote, “There’s a lot more brewing…but are you ready for this ‘koffee’ to be spilled? #HotstarSpecials #KoffeeWithKaran Season 8 - new episodes every Thursday only on Disney+ Hotstar! #KWKS8OnHotstar.”

Introducing the actors and actresses who are going to make an appearance in the upcoming episodes of Koffee With Karan, the promo video goes on to show glimpses of Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Rani on the couch. It also includes scenes from the November 16 episode involving Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Beginning with Sidharth and Varun’s banter, the clip cuts to Janhvi who talks about Karan’s films produced by Dharma Productions. “That is the selling point of your stories,” she says in the video, in keeping with Varun’s tease from another episode, “They tell me, ‘It’s a Dharma film’s hero, he’s very fragile’,.”

Later in the video, Varun calls Karan a home-wrecker, drawing a shocking reaction from the host, who jumps up from his seat and exclaims, “Keep quiet, I can’t bear this any longer!”

Dazzling in a neon yellow dress, Rani comes up with, “How dare you?” to Karan’s insinuations, while Kajol roasts the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director by reminding him how he almost begged her to appear on his chat show.
