Chandu Champion star Kartik Aaryan’s mother went on matchmaking mode for her son on the season finale episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, reveals a promo dropped by the streamer on Wednesday.
The final episode featuring the Bollywood star and his mum Mala Tiwari will stream on Netflix on June 22. It promises to be highly entertaining with Kartik’s mother not letting go of any opportunity of roasting her son.
The promo begins with Kartik declaring that he is very nervous about appearing on the show with his mother. The Chandu Champion actor requests her to make positive comments about him. The video also shows Mrs Tiwari playing matchmaker for her son in one of the segments of the show.
In the promo, host Kapil Sharma compliments Mala, saying, “You're looking so lovely,” adding, “Some girls are curious about the woman in black accompanying Kartik.” Pat came the reply from Mala, “They're used to seeing Kartik with girls.”

The Great Indian Kapil Show began its journey on Netflix on March 30, with Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor as guests. Since then, the comedy series has seen a parade of superstars, including Ed Sheeran, Aamir Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom and Sift Kaur.
The penultimate episode of Season 1 of the show featured rappers Badshah, DIVINE and Karan Ahuja.
