Actor Kartik Aaryan on Wednesday dropped his first look from Chandu Champion, flaunting his chiselled body in a poster of Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports biopic.
In the poster, Kartik is shown with his body covered in mud. He has a look of determination in his eyes while he runs on the field as part of his training.
“Champion Aa Raha Hai...Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career,” the 33-year-old actor wrote alongside the poster shared on X.
“A man who faced one adversary after another with an undying spirit. His unwavering zeal and never give up attitude led to India's first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics,” reads the official synopsis of the film on IMDb.
Based on the life of India's first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, Chandu Champion is slated to hit theatres on June 14. Kabir is well known for his films Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and 83 (2021). Chandu Champion marks his first tie-up with Kartik.
On the work front, Kartik was last seen in Sameer Vidwans’s romantic drama film Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He is also set to star in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan.
