Kannai Nambathey
Saregama Tamil on Sunday late evening posted the official trailer of its upcoming Tamil-language thriller film Kannai Nambathey. Directed by Mu Maran, the film stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aathmika, Srikanth, Prasanna, Bhumika Chawla, Vasundhara Kashyap and Sathish Marimuthu.
The one-minute-30-second-long trailer takes us through criminal activities ranging from hit-and-run cases to kidnapping. The trailer then introduces us to the protagonist (Udhayanidhi Stalin) and states that behind every crime there is a story of emotion.
Kannai Nambathey is scheduled to release on March 17.
The Last Of Us Episode 8
HBO Max on Monday released the preview of the upcoming eighth episode of its ongoing post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us. Based on a survival video game of the same name, the series stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in lead roles.
The 50-second-long teaser follows the story of Joel and Ellie in post-apocalyptic America in the winter. The teaser introduces us to new characters and new dangers as it becomes increasingly difficult for them to survive. Joel is shown to have become critically ill, while Eliie takes the gun to protect them and provide food.
The Last of Us Episode 8 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on March 6.
Gulmohar
A new trailer for Disney+Hotstar’s upcoming family drama film Gulmohar has been released by the streamers. Directed by Rahul V. Chittella, the film stars Sharmila Tagore, Suraj Sharma and Simran Rishi Bagga, Amol Palekar and Manoj Bajpayee.
The one-minute-20-second-long trailer starts with a monologue from Sharmila Thakur, the matriarch of the Batra family in Delhi. Her son (Manoj Bajpayee) is haunted by visions of a broken family.
Gulmohar will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from March 3.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga
Yami Gautam on Monday posted a character poster of herself from the upcoming Netflix original heist thriller film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. Directed by Ajay Singh, the film also stars Sunny Kaushal. Yami plays flight attendant Neha Grover in the film, who is looking extremely frightened as someone is holding her at a gunpoint inside the flight.
“Neha Grover welcomes you aboard flight #ChorNikalKeBhaga 🙏 Umeed karte hai yeh story aapko excitement, thrill aur drama ki nayi oonchaiyo par le jaayein ✈️ Arriving only on Netflix on March 24!” the actress captioned the post.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga will be streaming on Netflix from March 24.
