A drizzly Tuesday morning witnessed actress Kajal Aggarwal kicking off the shoot of her film Uma in Calcutta. Kajal was caught on camera by t2 at the film’s location at Gossain Para Lane near Kumartuli.
Dressed in a floral pastel gown teamed with a matching sweater, Kajal was seen walking into the venue of the shoot at about 8am on Tuesday.
The actress, who has a prolific career in south Indian films spanning many years, has also starred in Bollywood films of merit like Singham and Special 26. The 36-year-old actress got married to longtime boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu in October last year.

Directed by Tathagata Singha, Uma is said to be a ‘slice-of-life family film’ and follows the drama that ensues when the titular character, a stranger played by Kajal, joins the members of the family over the course of a wedding. Uma also stars Harsh Chhaya, Tinnu Anand, Meghana Malik, Ayoshi Talukdar, Gaurav Sharma and Shriswara in pivotal roles and will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.
