Shah Rukh Khan has dropped a new Jawan poster featuring Nayanthara as a machine gun-wielding cop who looks stylish in a pair of black shades.
In the poster, Nayanthara wears protective gear and looks intense in her black sunglasses. She seems ready for some action as a police officer. The poster features the lines, “Ready or not… She’s got the glock.”
Jawan will be Nayanthara’s Hindi film debut. She will be paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in the movie.
The Pathaan actor unveiled the new poster and Nayanthara’s look on social media on Monday. “She is the thunder that comes before the storm! #Nayanthara,” Shah Rukh wrote in the caption.
Produced by Gauri Khan for Red Chillies Entertainment, the action thriller directed by Atlee Kumar also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Deepika Padukone.
Earlier on July 10, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the Jawan prevue, which showed the 57-year-old actor flaunting a bald look and dancing to an old Hemanta Mukhopadhayay song inside a hijacked train. “Main kaun hoon, kaun nahin, jaanne ke liye, READY? #JawanPrevue Out Now! #Jawan releasing worldwide on 7th September 2023, in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu,” he wrote alongside the first look of the movie.
Jawan will hit cinemas on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
