Actress Jacqueline has revealed that she wants to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the maverick director’s Devdas has been the main inspiration for her to work in Bollywood.
“To be completely honest with you, I have always wanted to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.. it’s because I feel one of my biggest inspirations for entering Bollywood was Devdas and just seeing his work,” the Ram Setu actress said.
Recalling the first time she watched the Shah Rukh Khan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, Jacqueline said she was swept off her feet by the beautiful and dreamy shots. “I remember watching it and thinking ‘Wow, how is this even possible? Everything is so beautiful and dreamy’. He has so much depth in his cinema. So I would say working with him would be any actor’s dream as he brings out so much in them,” she elaborated.
Jacqueline has already worked with several prominent filmmakers of the industry. The Sri Lankan model-turned-actress recently grabbed eyeballs with her dance performance at the recently held 23rd IIFA Awards. She will be next seen in Vaibhav Mishra-directed action thriller Fateh alongside Sonu Sood. She will also share screen space with Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Ramp in Aditya Datt and Federico Cueva’s Crakk - Jeethegaa Toh Jiyegaa!
