After the success of Sampurna, Hoichoi is back with fan favourite Sohini Sarkar in Sampurna 2. Sampurna has been a pillar of support to Nandini all throughout her struggles in season 1, but what about her own struggles? Directed by Sayantan Ghosal, the new season promises empowerment, thrill and drama. The new reveal consists of wedding pictures of Sampurna, where she’s draped in a red sari and her husband Pratim is putting vermilion on her head, marking their ritualistic marriage. The intriguing look reveal makes one wonder about Sampurna’s past. The question on everyone’s mind remains whether Sampurna 2 is a prequel to Sampurna’s past or a sequel to her ongoing battle. Or could it be both?

Commenting on this exclusive look actor Sohini Sarkar aka Sampurna said, “I’m eagerly anticipating Sampurna’s comeback to the screen. Ever since the unveiling of the appearance, I’ve been intrigued by the ambiguity surrounding whether it’s a prequel or a sequel. I’m eagerly awaiting the audience’s discovery and their subsequent viewpoints. The cast has expanded further this time, affording me the opportunity to collaborate with accomplished actors and gain invaluable insights along the journey. Lastly, Hoichoi holds a special place in my heart, akin to a second home, and returning is always a delight!”
