Alia Bhatt on her Hollywood debut takes on Gal Gadot’s secret agent in the action-packed trailer of Heart of Stone and seems to be in control of the narrative.
Unveiled at Netflix’s TUDUM event in Brazil on Sunday, the two-and-a-half-minute-long trailer is filled with exhilarating action sequences with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan as the "most highly trained" members of an organisation known as the Charter. These members are expected to have no friends, relationships, political affiliations or national loyalties. They are meant to collaborate in maintaining global peace when governments fail. The Charter derives its power from a "heart," which gets stolen and falls into the hands of Alia. Although the trailer does not show Alia engaging in action scenes, she possesses the ability to bring the Charter to its knees.

Alia, along with her co-stars Gadot and Dornan, attended the trailer launch event in Sao Paulo, Brazil. “Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan & Alia Bhatt just took the #TUDUM stage to exclusively debut the trailer of Heart of Stone, their action-packed new film,” Netflix wrote on Twitter alongside the trailer.
Directed by Tom Harper, Heart of Stone also features Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighofer, Jing Lusi and Paul Ready in significant roles. It is set to premiere on Netflix on August 11.
