Actor Dulquer Salmaan looks dapper as the moustache-sporting small-town cop Arjun Varma in his character promo from the upcoming gangster comedy series Guns & Gulaabs, dropped by streaming platform Netflix on Saturday.
The 40-second-long clip shows Dulquer’s Arjun as a police officer on a mission to clean-up Gulaabgunj by neutralising the members of two raging gangs in the fictional town. The promo shows him in conversation with the heads of the gangs as they try their best to lure him to their side.
The video also shows a brief chat over the phone between Arjun and Panna a.k.a Tipu (Rajkummar Rao). It ends with glimpses of Arjun’s action avatar as we see him in hand-to-hand combat with goons.

Previously, series directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. shared a character motion poster of the Sita Ramam actor on Instagram and wrote, “Suave, slick and sharp… what can you say to a guy with a gun, spouting philosophy! Introducing Arjun Varma @dqsalmaan!”
Apart from Dulquer and Rajkummar, the series stars Gulshan Devaiah, Adarsh Gourav, Satish Kaushik, TJ Bhanu, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja A Gor.
Guns & Gulaabs will be streaming on Netflix from August 18.
