Gunjan Sinha and her dance partner Tejas Verma win Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 10

Eight-year-old Gunjan Sinha and her dance partner Tejas Verma emerged the winners of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 10 and were awarded a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh in presence of special guests Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan at the finale of the Colors TV show that premiered on Sunday.

“What an exhilarating journey Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 has been. I am taking back a box filled with beautiful memories. I thank my partner Tejas Verma and choreographer Sagar Bora, who have been the source of inspiration and strength while I danced my heart out,” said Gunjan.

Despite being the youngest contestant, Gunjan and her dance partner Tejas gave a tough fight to the rest of the competitors. Owing to their impeccable maiden performance, they were the judges’ favourite since the beginning of the season. Each act by the feisty little winners was flawless and garnered tremendous appreciation from judges Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi.

“Big love to the judges for always giving me the valuable guidance I needed to up my dance game at various stages of the season. I’m grateful that our team has fulfilled the dream of winning the most epic dance battle in India,” Gunjan added.

It was also an exceptional night for special guest Kriti, who was at the grand finale to promote her film Bhediya. Kriti got to shake a leg with Madhuri on the song Badi Mushkil. Bigg Boss host Salman Khan and Madhuri recreated an iconic scene from their hit movie Hum Aapke Hain Koun.
