Speculation around a celeb relationship can be rife but it isn’t official unless it’s Insta-official! Ed Westwick and our own Amy Jackson have finally made it official on Instagram, and both seem to be smitten.

Fans of Gossip Girl have their eyes peeled on the growing closeness between the show’s star Ed Westwick and 2.0 actress Amy Jackson since the duo’s first encounter at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia in late 2021.

The two actors have been spotted walking the streets of London, casually holding hands, and fans were jubilant when both approved the relationship by posting Stories on Instagram, which are supposedly from their recent vacation in Seville. In the one that Amy posted, the couple gave a hot stare at the camera. Ed posted another where they are seated on a bench holding hands and Ed’s left arm is wrapped around Amy’s, with the text, ‘Red hot chili pepper’.

June 27 is Ed’s birthday, and we expect Amy to throw him a surprise. So far, Ed’s most noteworthy outing has been in the sitcom Gossip Girl as Chuck Bass. Ed is also a musician. Amy featured in a slew of Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, with Rajinikanth’s 2.0 being one of them.

Amy had been engaged to multi-millionaire George Panayiotou in 2019 and had a baby boy the same year. They were supposed to tie the knot, but then the pandemic hit and within months of the birth of their child, the couple parted ways. Post her split, Amy deleted all pictures with George, from her lavish engagement to the birth of her son.
