Emancipation
Apple TV+ on Wednesday late night released the official trailer of its upcoming American historical action thriller film Emancipation, Based on a true story, the film is written by William N. Collage and directed by Antoine Fuqua. It stars Will Smith, Ben Foster, Steven Ogg and Charmaine Bingwa in main roles.
The almost three-minute-long trailer shows us glimpses of one man’s fight through unthinkable terrors in an attempt to reunite with his family. Set before the American Civil War, the movie showcases the relationship between a slave (Smith) and his white master (Foster). This looks like a striking portrayal of one of the most barbaric trades in human history.
Emancipation will premiere in the theatres on December 2 and start streaming on Apple TV+ from December 9.
Netflix on Wednesday late evening dropped the trailer of its upcoming spy-adventure series The Recruit, starring Noah Centineo, Aarti Mann, Quincy Annoh, Curtis-Hall and Kristian Bruun.
The trailer follows Owen Hendricks (Centineo), a fledgling lawyer at the CIA who becomes enmeshed in dangerous international power politics when a former asset threatens to expose the nature of her long-term relationship with the agency.
The Recruit will be streaming on Netflix from December 16.
Love Today
The trailer of the upcoming Telugu romantic comedy Love Today was shared by its makers on Thursday. The film is directed by Pradeep Ranganathan and stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana in the lead roles.
In the trailer, we see an about-to-be-married couple Uthaman Pradeep (Ranganathan) and Nikitha (Ivana). But Nikitha’s father asks them to exchange their phones for a day. The film is an extension of Ranganathan's short film App(a) Lock. This exercise creates animosity between the two as they learn unpleasant truths about each other.
Love Today will hit the theatres in November.
Triple Riding
Anand Audio unveiled the trailer of its Kannada-language upcoming romantic action film Triple Riding. It is written and directed by Mahesh Gowda and stars Ganesh, Aditi Prabhudeva, Megha Shetty and Rachana Inder in lead roles.
The trailer chronicles the life of Ganesh’s character, a rowdy boy who is living three different lives. He soon gets attached to three different women. There is also some action in the mix. From the trailer, the film looks like a proper mass entertainer.
Triple Riding will hit the cinemas on November 25.
Kora Kagazz
Platoon One released the trailer of its upcoming social drama film Kora Kagazz. Directed by Nawneet Ranjan, the film stars Rajat Kapoor, Aishani Yadav and Swastika Mukherjee in the lead roles.
From the trailer, it seems that the movie would revolve around three lost souls who find a home away from home. Divya, a juvenile home warden, and Vivek, an actor struggling to create art, meet Sandhya, a 14-year-old girl, with a dark past. Together, the trio manage to rise above their circumstances
Kora Kagazz will arrive in the theatres on November 25.
