Actor Dulquer Salmaan has wrapped up the shoot for his Malayalam-language film Kings of Kotha in Karaikudi of Tamil Nadu.
Dulquar dropped a video from the sets of King of Kotha on his social Instagram and YouTube on February 21. “It’s a wrap 🥳 Thank you Karaikudi. Gearing up for the final lap. Further updates very soon! 😎🌄 @AbhilashJoshiy @NimishRavi @DQsWayfarerFilm @ZeeStudios_,” he wrote.
The 45-second-long video starts with Dulquer saying, “Finish me, if you can!” adhering to his character in the film. Soon we hear the makers saying ‘pack up’ followed by a loud cheer by the crew and fireworks. The video also says that the shoot was completed in 95 days.
Directed by Abhilash Joshiy from a script penned by Abhilash N. Chandran, King of Kotha is touted to be a gangster thriller produced by Wayfarer Films in association with Zee Studios. Apart from Dulquer, the film also stars Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. Minnal Murali actor Tovino Thomas will also appear in a cameo role in the film. The background score is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the songs featured in the film are composed by Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman separately.
Kings of Kotha is scheduled for an Onam 2023 theatrical release and will also be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
