Daal Baati Churma Chacchari, starring Bonny and Koushani, is set to release on February 17. Produced by Ravi Bhalotia and BK Entertainment (Bonny-Koushani Entertainment) and directed by Haranath Chakraborty, the story revolves around two families, a Bengali and a non-Bengali one. In the film, Bonny’s family hails from Rajasthan while Koushani plays the character of a Bengali girl from south Calcutta.“My experience with the production was really amazing. It was something new. We have done our best to give a good film. We have worked with stalwarts from this industry and gathered experience,” says Bonny.

Talking about her experience of opening a production house and taking the work forward, Koushani says: “It has been enriching. Being the producer, I was there from the very beginning, from choosing the cast to taking auditions, doing all the paperwork, and putting together the team. It really excited me to experience this part of filmmaking and being a producer. Working with Hara uncle was really amazing, he is one of the senior people in the industry. It was our pleasure to have him on board. He is back with a bang in this film. We went to Rajasthan for the shoot and really enjoyed every bit of it. I’m going to treasure it for the rest of my life. This film will always have a special place in my heart,” says Koushan
