The Emmy-winning comedian recounted a series of accomplishments that left his fans and followers in awe in 2024. “In 14 months my team and I were lucky enough to win an Emmy, sell out Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Chicago Theatre, the London Apollo, and iconic venues in close to 30 countries,” he wrote.

Das also revealed the sheer magnitude of his creative endeavours in 2024, which included shooting a global comedy special in Mumbai’s NSCI Stadium, New York's legendary Comedy Cellar, and London’s Union Chapel. In addition, he helmed a record-breaking comedy tour across India and embarked on numerous international projects, from starring in a movie under Aamir Khan Productions to delivering and greenlighting multiple series across streaming platforms.

“This year, we made a movie for Aamir Khan Productions, delivered a series to one platform, and greenlit a series with another one. Wrote a book and hosted the International Emmys,” he shared.

Amid the chaos of juggling multiple roles as a performer, writer, and creator, Das admitted to facing personal challenges, including losing his voice and enduring a grueling five-week recovery period. Despite these hurdles, he praised his team for their relentless dedication, noting, “I’m NOT an easy man to work for. I expect an unreasonable level of audaciousness. If you worked for me this year, I just want to say thank you.”

Ending the year on a high note, Das performed his last show of 2024 in London. “If you came and saw us this year, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Whatever the story is, this audience is writing it. We’re just happy to be players,” he wrote.

Das concluded his reflection in true comedic fashion, sharing a relatable moment of late-night snacking. “It’s 1:45 a.m. in London. I just had three chocolate-covered digestives. I won’t sleep a wink tonight. I’m just so grateful.”
