Director-choreographer Farah Khan will join celebrity chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna as host in the upcoming cooking show Celebrity Masterchef, a spin-off to Masterchef India, Sony Entertainment Television announced on Saturday.
“Jinhe dekh kar pura India seeti bajata tha, ab un sabki seeti bajegi! Dekhiye Celebrity MasterChef, COMING SOON, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par,” Sony Entertainment Television wrote on its official Instagram handle alongside the promo video which features Gaurav Khanna and Tejasswi Prakash as contestants.
The promo begins with chef Ranveer Brar teaching participants how to cook a Baked Alaska (an ice cream dessert). Following that, Farah joins Ranveer on the stage and introduces herself as the host of the show. Though Vikas Khanna wasn’t featured in the promo, he will be joining the show as a judge.
Earlier, Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash shared a video on her official Instagram handle, sharing her excitement for joining the culinary show as a participant. “Seekhne ki lagan, jeetne ka junoon—Teja hai har challenge ke liye tayar! Dekhiye Celebrity MasterChef 🍴, COMING SOON sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par,” Prakash wrote alongside the video.
The show will feature TV stars and internet personalities like Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Nikki Tamboli, Usha Nadkarni and Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr. Faisu.
